Is Shakeology "certified" as a meal replacement?
Shakeology is a dietary supplement that when prepared with certain liquids, healthy ingredients, and/or fruit can have enough calories to replace a meal. Shakeology is designed to supplement your healthy diet and should not be the only source of nutrition throughout the day. It is not recommended to replace more than two meals per day with Shakeology. Is it possible to gain weight while drinking Shakeology? If you follow a healthy diet that includes Shakeology along with regular exercise, weight loss is typically a result. Weight gain can be present if the overall calories being consumed in a given day are more than your body is used to. Will I still be able to do the workout programs if I have joint issues? ABSOLUTELY! Beachbody workout programs are designed for a wide variety of people. The trainers offer modified versions of the exercises for those who are beginners or need to take it easy, as well as more intensified versions of the exercises for those who are more advanced and really want to step it up! |
How much water should I be drinking while working out?
Drink as much water as you feel will keep you hydrated while working out. However, during the day you should be drinking half of your body weight in ounces of water. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, you should be drinking 75 ounces of water a day.
If I get tired during a workout, is it okay to stop?
You know your body better than anyone else, so if you can not make it through a workout it is okay to stop. I recommend, however, to take small breaks while working out if you find yourself getting tired too fast. Pause the video when you become to feel like you can not go any longer, catch your breath, drink a little bit of water, and keep going. I promise if you keep pushing the results WILL be worth it.
When is the best time of day to workout?
Workout time is all personal preference. Depending on your schedule, you might want to workout before you go to work so that when you come home you can relax, but if you like to sleep in maybe it is better for you to workout at night. Personally, I like to wake up early every morning before work because it helps to get me energized and it a great way to kick start my day!

To do the workout programs, all you need is a small space in one of your rooms. A fun way to tell if you have enough room to do the workouts is to lay on the ground, spread out your arms and legs as far as you can, and if you do not hit any furniture you're ready to go!
